April Showers and May Flowers
May is here and most of the dogs we are trying to help for the moment have foster homes with the exception of little Lady whose owners just walked out of her life at her time of need. She is sitting in a vet clinic with a broken back leg and a mounting bill. We and another group offered financial assistance to help with her leg if they agreed to spay and not breed her. They agreed but then left her, didn't pick her up or pay her remaining bill. Poor girl, this is the SECOND time they have broken her leg. No-one can dispute that she is much better off without them but we have no foster care. This little 6 month old puppy deserves better.

And even sadder still, the owners have not made an appointment to have her spayed as ageed upon in the terms of the financial assistance and even cancelled the appointment they had made for her pin to be removed. I am very sad about her life outlook at this time. AmyH - ASCPBR
